Cambridge’s Enzymic Filter is a quick and effective way to provide sterilization by eliminating a wide range of bacteria. Enzymes fixed on media fibers break the molecular bonds of bacterial cell walls (glycoside, amido, or peptide). Cell membranes are then ruptured by inner osmotic pressure and the bacteria are destroyed. The media uses natural enzymes that are safe for both the environment and human beings. Our Enzymic Filter Series functions at room temperature so no electricity or heating is required. The Enzymic HEPA Filter is available in 99.97% and 99.99% efficiencies at 0.3um.
